Horror Sales: The Collection, Silent Night, and The Walking Dead.

Box Office Numbers and Television Viewership for the week of November 30 to December 6, 2012.

Box Office Numbers: I will admit, The Collection did better than I thought it would – coming in at #11. Not that I didn’t enjoy the movie, because I did, but because it didn’t have a lot of promotion. Also, Steven C. Miller’s remake Silent Night was the #59 movie during its one week, eleven theater limited release.

1 1 Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 $22,352,000 (Total: $259,534,000)
11 The Collection $3,967,000
15 20 Hitchock $570,000 (Total: $949,000)

33 35 ParaNorman $73,000 (Total: $55,886,000)
35 26 Silent Hill: Revelation 3D $70,000 (Total: $17,484,000)
41 34 Sinister $58,000 (Total: $47,788,000)
42 38 House At the End Of The Street $57,000 (Total: $31,564,000)

74 82 Citadel $2,000 (Total: $11,000)
80 78 Wake In Fright $1,000 (Total: $45,000)

DVD Top 30 Chart: This is now a month behind with no updates coming in since last week. Hopefully the website I use as a source can get it together in the new year or I’ll have to search for something more reliable.

Television Viewership: The midseason finale of The Walking Dead pulls in great numbers, but a little lower than I suspected. 666 Park Ave doing very well still, so I can hope that the cancellation can be revoked somehow. It’s doing better than American Horror Story which had all this hype but is underperforming compared to last season.

The Walking Dead – 10,484,000
Once Upon A Time – 9,050,000
666 Park Ave – 4,020,000
Arrow – 3,350,000
Grimm (rerun) – 2,800,000
The Vampire Diaries – 2,400,000
American Horror Story – 2,363,000
Dexter – 2,082,000
Supernatural – 2,060,000
Haven – 1,533,000
Beauty And The Beast – 1,410,000
