Apocalyptic Horror As ‘The Colony’ Releases a Chilling New Trailer

The Colony image 5

I’ve got the first trailer for what looks to be a very cool post-apocalyptic sci-fi/horror film  from Jeff Renfroe (Sand Serpents), The Colony.   The film has a pretty good cast with the likes of Laurence Fishburne and Bill Paxton who must battle feral, cannibalistic creatures during the next ice age.   The Colony is opening across Canada on April 12th, but there is no word on a U.S. release date yet.

The Colony is directed by Jeff Renfroe from a script by Patrick Tarr, Pascal Trottier, and Jeff Renfroe.  It stars Laurence Fishburne, Bill Paxton, Kevin Zegers, Charlotte Sullivan, John Tench, and Atticus Dean Mitchell.

Plot Synopsis

Forced underground by the next ice age, a struggling outpost of survivors fight to preserve humanity against a threat even more savage than nature.
