IGN recently posted the trailer for the upcoming survival horror game The Evil Within. After doing a little research (Facebook creeping) I came across the official Facebook page for the game.
The game is brought to us by Shinji Mikami who is well known in the gaming community for bringing us Resident Evil. The official Facebook page had this to say about the game:
“Shinji Mikami, the father of survival horror, is back to direct The Evil Within™ – a game embodying the meaning of pure survival horror. Highly-crafted environments, horrifying anxiety, and an intricate story weave together to create an immersive world that will bring players to the height of tension. The Evil Within is in development for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, PC and next generation consoles and is slated for release in 2014.”
Not much is said about the gameplay or storyline but I’m sure this will be another hit. Until the game is released take a minute to look at the trailer for the game and check out the Facebook page.
