The New Easter Sunday Teaser Trailer is Released!

easterposter

Earlier this year I brought you guys info about an 80s inspired slasher based on the Easter holiday by director Jeremy Todd Morehead.  However, all the news coming out about the film suddenly stopped.  I did not turn my back on the film but waited paitently because I knew director Morehead was also the front man to the metal band Madison Apart.  I knew the band was currently writing new material and touring so I knew it would be some time before I received word for the film and I was write.  Recently, Morehead was kind enough to hook me up with the new teaser trailer for the film which I will soon pass on to you beautiful people.  However, before I do I want to share what the Facebook page has to say about the film below for those that do not know:

It’s been 24 years since the deranged serial killer Douglas Fisher was executed by police on Easter night. This year, a group of hard partying teenagers not only raise some hell, but literally raise the dead! The teens accidentally conjure the spirit of Douglas Fisher … aka the bunny masked killer! These teens have until Midnight on Easter to stop the evil bunny slasher, or he will tear their town, and everyone in it into pieces. There will be no candy in your Easter basket, just the limbs and body parts of your family and friends… Doug Fisher kills everyone in sight, if you’re not careful you’ll lose your head this Easter night. The ultimate in bunny terror!!!

Not only does the story and artwork pay tribute to 80s slashers but it also has two cast members who played iconic slashers from the 80s.  Robert Z’Dar who is famous for portraying Officer Matthew Cordell in the Maniac Cop trilogy and Arie Lehman who is known for being “first” Jason in the original Friday the 13th film.  You can check out the Facebook page for the film here after watching this awesome teaser trailer below!
