Chopping Block is an upcoming slasher film written and directed by Joshua Hull. The film is scheduled to begin filming July 25th in central Indiana with David M. Brewer (Insidious) as director of photography. This film is actually new to me but the Facebook page for the film paints a very beautiful picture. CHOPPING BLOCK follows a small group of corporate workers who get laid off. Desperate times call for desperate measures. They decide to kidnap their ex-boss’s daughter for ransom. Things take a bloody turn, when the boss’s daughter just happens to be the only survivor of a masked psychopath. A masked psychopath still out for blood. Hilarity & bloodshed ensue…
The film is set to star comedian Michael Malone, Jas Sams (V/H/S), Raymond Kester (The Impersonators, Proxy), Bryan Wilson (Underground Entertainment: The Movie) Alex Raaen, Angela Steele and horror icon Kane Hodder. However, today director Joshua Hull reached out to me with some very big news. He revealed that up and coming indie horror actress (and extremely hot) Haley Jay Madison has joined the production.
Madison has been featured in several Horror Society posts and those of you unfamiliar with her can find her in the films Bludgeon, Kill That Bitch, Babysitter Massacre, and Haunted House on Sorority Row.
