It was just yesterday that 2x Grammy Winner and “Queen of Soul” Patti LaBelle would be featured in a four episode arc on “American Horror Story: Freak Show.”
Now Ryan Murphy is announcing another prolific star: The World’s Smallest Woman Jyoti Amge. She is a 20-year-old India native who comes in at 2″6′.
“American Horror Story: Freak Show” will take place in the town of Jupiter, Florida and will be centered around ‘one of the few remaining freak shows of the 1950s, as its members do anything to keep the business alive. The season will focus on the conflict between the freaks and the “evil forces” who do not understand them.‘
Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Jamie Brewer, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, and Gabourey Sidibe are all expected to return with new character roles. Ryan Murphy will also continue his role as show writer, executive producer, and sometimes director.
Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley, and John Carroll Lynch will join Amge and LaBelle as new characters on the fourth season.
“American Horror Story: Freak Show” will consist of 13 episodes that will air beginning in October 2014.
