Idle Hands (1999)

On hand (get it?) tonight is the really fun, comedic horror film, Idle Hands. I really enjoyed this movie when I saw it when it was released. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and has some pretty decent effects as well. It also has some then up and coming stars such as Seth Green, the always gorgeous Jessica Alba, Kelly Monaco and others. The film revolves around Halloween so it fits in perfectly as one of my picks. Check it out.

Idle Hands is written by Terri Hughes, Ron Milbauer and directed by Rodman Flender (Leprechaun 2, The Unborn). It stars Devon Sawa, Seth Green, Elden Henson, Jessica Alba, Vivica A. Fox, Christopher Hart, Jack Noseworthy, Sean Whalen and Nicholas Sadler.

Plot Synopsis

Seventeen year old slacker Anton Tobias wakes up one Halloween morning to discover that both of his parents have been turned into two headless Halloween decorations. After speaking to his equally irresponsible friends, Mick and Pnub, he discovers that his right hand has a blood-thirsty mind of its own and is hell-bent on wreaking havoc whether he likes it or not.
