Bill Oberst Jr. is easily one of the hardest working and most recognizable faces of the indie horror genre. In just eight years he’s amassed over one hundred credits of various types in films and series across the board. Some of his most popular appearances include The Devil Within, Nude Nuns with Big Guns, The Shunning, A Haunting in Salem, Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies, Scary or Die, Krampus: The Christmas Devil, Deadly Revisions, The Black Water Vampire, A Grim Becoming and Circus of the Dead – to name a few! Raw Meat is an upcoming horror-thriller from writer/director Tonjia Atomic. Atomic has directed nine films in the past with Plain Devil being her most recent. She collaborated on the script with Oberst and together the duo were able to put Raw Meat into production. Unfortunately, this endeavor proved to be more costly than predicted and principle photography has been halted two-thirds through production. Currently, Atomic has launched a campaign on Kickstarter to raise $3,000 in hopes of finishing the last third of the movie. Any extra donations received after that will go directly towards post-production costs and film festival submissions. That means there is a plan to get this movie out to the public upon creation!

Raw Meat stars Oberst and Atomic as well as Barbara Burgio, Steven Shields, Michael Crowley, Rachel Jackson, Don Ayers, Kevin Carmell, Jason Chamberlain and Heidi Honeycutt. Special effects are performed by Herbie Gandy in this film that follows, “a skinless killer named Meat Head and his quest for vengeance. Skinned by thugs and left by his fiancé, Meat Head becomes a bitter merciless killer. His pet peeve is couples in love. His signature is a bloody hand print, but he leaves no fingerprints for he has no skin.”
