  • 2013 – Allan Arbus, appeared in numerous films and television roles including “M*A*S*H (TV Series)”, “Salvage 1 (TV Series)”, “Damien: Omen II”, “Wonder Woman (TV Series)” and so many more. He passed away at the age of 95 – wow!
  • 2005 – George P. Cosmatos, who directed “Of Unknown Origin” and “Leviathan,” as well as action films such as “Cobra”, “Rambo: First Blood Part II” and “Tombstone” passed away at the age of 64.
  • 1994 – Michael Carreras, producer of many Hammer classics, including “Curse Of The Mummy’s Tomb,” “The Curse of Frankenstein,” and “Horror of Dracula,” passed away at the age of 66.
  • 1989 – Daphne Du Maurier who wrote the story “The Birds,” passed away at the age of 81.
  • 1970 – George Blair who directed many episodes of the original “Superman” TV series as well as the film “The Hypnotic Eye,” passed away at the age of 64.
  • 1824 – One of the most influential poet/writers of his time and friend of the Shelly’s (Percy & Mary Wollenstonecraft Godwin), Lord Byron passed away at the age of 36.
