Kabukiman’s Cocktail Corner P.C. Non Denominational Holiday Bash!

Kabukiman's Cocktail Corner

Long Island City’s bastion of political correctness takes over Brooklyn venue Lucky 13 to host a 25th anniversary party for Sgt. Kabukiman, N.Y.P.D. and Blu-Ray release.

Led by Lloyed Kaufman, president of Troma and creator of the “Toxic Avenger” infamous American music and film horror icons unite psychotropic forces in front of a live studio audicent on set of first-season success, late-night talk show“Kabukiman’s Cocktail Corner”, created by John Brennan and based on Troma’s classic film, “Sgt. Kabukiman, N.Y.P.D.”.  The series premiered in early 2015 as a weekly YouTube television episode, airing Friday’s at 4 pm and featuring guests, musical acts, artist and characters each week via Japan’s favorite drunken host, Sgt. Kabukiman, N.Y.P. D.  Guests included True T.V.’s Impractical Joker’s star Brian Quinn, tattoo artist Paul Booth, Europe’s Super Monkey Death Grip and Party-Hop duo Unicorn Smack (set to make an appearance at this year’s holiday party) among others in interesting and unique interviews shared over a weekly featured cocktail.

Kabukiman Jr., AKA Doug Sakmann will be hosting his second live late night talk show as the “chosen one” this holiday weekend. The live celebration comes after a debut performance in Philadelphia this past July that included musical numbers, Tromette wrestling and appearances and photo opportunities with Lloyd Kaufman and the Toxic Avenger. This in conjunction with a screening of juried horror shorts presented by Average Superstar at the Trocadero in Philly’s Chinatown. After closing Season 1 of “Kabukiman’s Cocktail Corner” in an intoxicated and fabulous style, November 28 is set to open Season 2 with the same delirious jubilation.

Joining the Troma Team will be musical guest The Bad Luck 13 Riot Extravaganza, billed for the taping as the talk-show’s “house-band”. Notorious for their ultra-violent hardcore theatrics that have been menacing the underground music scene since the mid-1990’s, Bad Luck 13 is the Philadelphia based portent of live terror and real fear that intends to confuse your understanding of performance and reality. Fusing death metal riffs and hardcore baselines with growling vocals, the theme of the music is hatred and the environment the band creates is one of tangible fear and danger. Fronted by JAG 13 of the young and internationally feared wrestling super-group Eat the Turnbuckle, no bloody stage gimmick is overlooked and plenty of awkward stand-up comedy is woven into the set. We can only anticipate the improvisation that may fly between Kabukiman and Hostile City’s longest standing blacklisted band.
