The Horror Channel calls it “The Perfect Dark Fairytale” and I can’t help but agree with them. Even though I am not a big fan of Lori Petty, something about her just rubs me the wrong way but in this movie she was fine…kind of creepy. Petty plays the desperate bereaved mother . She makes a pact with dark forces and is forced to abduct teen outcasts and throw them in the basement for the fair haired child to feast on while her neurotic husband does as he is told. After another unbearable day at school, a pretty blonde teen girl is kidnapped and thrown in the basement. She is the last body needed.
While down there she befriends another teen that’s down there named Jonathan. They quickly bond while in their desperation to get out of there alive. As the two of them search the dirty basement they see warnings etched in the walls, and cabinets to beware of the fair haired child. When he arrives he moves in quick jerky motions searching for his last meal.
I have only seen a handful of the “Masters Of Horrors” series and I enjoyed this one the best so far….even more than the infamous episode “Imprint.” Maybe I loved it so much because girls just love fairytales, even though I doubt the majority of them never fantasized about such a twisted treat!
HOW dare you say that this movie was good!this movie was the worst piece of shit i have ever seen. when jhonny was hanging himself SO WAS I. these people should try a different approach to horror.
