Adrienne King Continues Come Back

Adrienne King is still making a come back in the horror genre. She is most known for playing Alice Hardy, the original survivor girl, in Friday the 13th and Friday the 13th Part 2. After this ironic role, she disappeared from in front of the camera. She would continue to work in Hollywood, but only as uncredited looping vocals and rare television cameos. Finally, after 29 years off the big screen, she returned to the horror genre in 2010’s Walking Distance. Now, it seems that her streak will continue.

She will appear in a suspense thriller in 2011 titled The Butterfly Room. No details have been released at this time. She will also appear in a horror film in 2012 titled The Gathering. It is currently in preproduction and will star Robert Englund, who played Freddy in the original Nightmare on Elm Street films. Both films will probably go straight to DVD, but it will be interesting to see if she has evolved as an actress.

When Scream 4 was in preproduction and working on casting, there was a rumor that Ms. King would appear in the new film. She denied this rumor shortly after. However, she said she wouldn’t rule out appearing in Scream 5.
