“Take this Lollipop” Wins an Emmy While Promoting Horror on Facebook

The Facebook application “Take this Lollipop” has been downloaded millions of times. This application invites Facebook users to look at a worst-case-scenario involving Facebook privacy settings. Actor Bill Oberst Jr. is soon looking through users information for what, no one knows. However, the anonymous character appears to look at friends and profiles.

Now, “Take this Lollipop” has won an Emmy. “Take this Lollipop” won in the category “Outstanding New Approaches In Daytime Entertainment.” This application beat out high profile television shows including the Ellen Degeneres Show, and The Today Show to win in this coveted category.
