Synopsis
“The Italian Zombie Movie – The GRINDHOUSE Cut” is a re-release of IZM Parts 1 & 2 in a single, two-hour, comedy-horror chunkblower! It is an homage to (and pokes fun at) European horror movies from the 1980s – Movies like Zombi 2, The Gates of Hell, Burial Ground (and sometimes other B-movies and even a little Star Trek!) It’s a no-budget feature with jaw-dropping dialog, chunk-blowing gross-outs and more plots than a cemetery! Made by people who love Italian horror (but find the dated sexist attitudes pretty funny today), The Italian Zombie Movies 1 & 2 have played festivals and horror conventions all over the US and have received several great reviews and awards including a listing on FANGORIA’s DVD Chopping List (May 2010), Winner – Best Fan Film, Remake or Sequel (2009) from Horror Movie Central and the Audience Choice Award at the Late Night Horror Film Fest (2011).
