Possible Casting News for Season 4 of ‘The Walking Dead’

It has been reported and widely known that AMC has been in the process of casting some roles in preparation for the commencement of filming for Season 4 of The Walking Dead which begins this May in Atlanta.   One role in particular, that of the character of “Roy Stark” has purportedly attracted the attention of Lawrence Gilliard Jr. (The Wire) who is circling the role.

In early April, AMC reportedly was holding a casting call for a new series regular role for “Roy Stark”.  The character of Stark is reportedly a “former army medic who is deeply haunted by his past.”

According to iDigitalTimes,  Waterboy actor Lawrence Gilliard Jr. (Pictured below) is in talks to join season 4 of “The Walking Dead” in a new series regular role.
