In a feature interview with AP, Rob Zombie talks about his movie experience, his new album and an upcoming project involving hockey.
Known mostly for horror movies, indie slashers like “House of 1000 Corpses” and “The Devil’s Rejects” and more recently “Lords of Salem”, Zombie was approached to do a biopic of The Philadelphia Flyers and their run of Stanley Cup wins in the 1970s. This would appeal to a completely different audience, but Zombie feels up to the task. He told the AP how he came upon the hockey film:
