Bloody Weekend Director Hakan Yildiz Will Shoot “Private Room” this Summer: A Preview

Director Hakan Yildiz recently shot his slasher feature Bloody Weekend in Hungary. Now, Yildiz is setting his sights on Istanbul, Turkey. Here, Yildiz will begin shooting his next feature, “Private Room.” “Private Room” is a short film, which will screen at several horror film festivals, later this year.

The story follows Kristian (Yildiz) and Leise (Denise Teipel). They are brother and sister. Together they travel and explore the sights of Istanbul, Turkey. But, a strange man upsets their future travel plans. Other flatmates in their apartment turn up missing and this duo must decide how to escape a devious murder plan.

“Private Room” will screen at Shriekfest, Screamfest, the NY City Horror Film Festival and many more, later this year. For now, the first film poster has been released for the film and further cast and crew details are located below.
