Fox’s upcoming horror comedy series, Scream Queens has cast another actress to be a part of the show. Newcomer Billie Lourd has been cast in the series which has already set Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts to star.
As he has previously done in Glee, creator Ryan Murphy likes to give chances to relative newcomers and has cast Billie Lourd in his new Fox series, Scream Queens, making her TV debut.
While relatively new to professional acting, Lourd is not new to the business as she is the daughter of CAA managing director Bryan Lourd and actress Carrie Fisher.
Lourd will be part of an ensemble cast that also includes Glee‘s Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Joe Manganiello and Abigail Breslin.
Production is set to begin in the spring on the first installment of Scream Queens, in which a college campus is rocked by a series of murders. The show from 20th TV and Ryan Murphy Television, which Murphy created with fellow Glee co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, is set to debut in the fall.
