Doomsters LORD DYING Debuts Video For “A Wound Outside Time”

Lord Dying band

Portland doom metal outfit LORD DYING have just released a video for the track “A Wound Outside Time” from their recently released second album, Poisoned Altars on Relapse Records. The band is also getting ready to hit the road as part of the Summer Of Doom tour and you can get all that info along with the video down below.

From The Press Release

Portland, Oregon’s LORD DYING released sophomore album Poisoned Altars, earlier this year via Relapse Records.  Recently the band completed work on a video for the latest single “A Wound Outside Time” from Poisoned Altars.  The video was directed and edited by Brett Roberts and Jon Meyer.  Check the video out HERE.

“We’re psyched to release this new video for “A Wound Outside of Time!” This vid pays homage to our favorite early 90’s Death Metal videos, like Bolt Thrower’s “Cenotaph,” Unleashed’s “Before the Creation of Time,” Entombed’s “Left Hand Path,” etc.  We really love the quick flashes of cliched over the top imagery and slow motion head banging sequences that infest so many videos of that era.  Enjoy, and catch us on the road,” says front man Erik Olson.

LORD DYING have now returned to the place where they are most at home, that of course is the road!   Tonight the band takes to the stage headlining in Tulsa, Oklahoma before they join up with Crowbar and Battlecross as part of the “Summer of Doom” tour.  The tour runs from May 28th in Shreveport, LA through July 3rd in Baton Rouge, LA.  A complete list of dates, including select headline shows can be seen below.

Poisoned Altars is available in CD/LP/Digital and a Special Silver Colored LP for Relapse Records 25th Anniversary. Order your copy of Poisoned Altars HERE.  The digital iTunes version is available HERE. The album was recorded with Toxic Holocaust’s Joel Grind (Black Tusk) at Audiosiege Studios in Portland, OR.  Poisoned Altars is direct result of the relentless work the band put in the past 18 months grinding it out on the road touring non-stop with the likes of Red Fang, Black Tusk, Corrosion of Conformity, Valient Thorr and more.  Poisoned Altars can be streamed in full on LORD DYING’s bandcamp page.
