Extension of Sales Deadline for MANOS Returns T-Shirt Fundraiser
“Every now and then…I get to impart news about something that to me is very personally exciting.” – Andrew Shearer, Cinema File Podcast on MANOS Returns
Due to continuously increasing interest and sales, the t-shirt fundraising campaign for upcoming film project MANOS Returns is being extended beyond its original end date. The final day to purchase the exclusive MANOS Returns t-shirt will now be October 15.
MANOS Returns is a sequel to the B-movie classic MANOS – The Hands of Fate. Jackey Raye Neyman Jones, aka “Debbie” from the original movie, is producing the project, which will be directed by award-winning Seattle filmmaker Tonjia Atomic (Plain Devil, Hobo with a Trashcan).
“The response from MANOS fans has been really really positive so far,” said Jones. “I think people really want this movie to happen.”
Each MANOS Returns t-shirt also comes with a limited edition art card signed by Jones. The design, featuring the mesmerizing visage of The Master in red and white on a black background, is exclusive to this campaign. T-shirts can be pre-ordered on the MANOS Returns website.
Money from the campaign will cover start up costs for the film, including shooting scenes with Tom Neyman, who played The Master in the original MANOS. A Kickstarter campaign to cover the remainder of the project’s expenses will be launched in November 2015.
“I think the fans will be happy to know that The Master will finally be paid for his work,” said Jones.
