Some very good casting news has come across my desk tonight as Dee Wallace (The Howling, E.T.) joins the cast of new supernatural thriller Ayla. The film is from director Elias (Gut, Dark) and is already shooting in and around the Seattle area.

Dee Wallace (“E.T.”, “The Howling”) has joined the cast of “Ayla”. The supernatural thriller begins production in Washington state this month, helmed by Elias (“Gut”) from his original script.
“Ayla” centers on Elton, a man haunted by the mysterious death of his 4-year-old sister, who brings her back to life thirty years later as an adult woman with dire consequences.
Tristan Risk (“American Mary”), Nicholas Wilder (“Gut”), Sarah Schoofs (“Phobia”), D’Angelo Midili (“The Invoking”), Bill Oberst Jr. (“Resolution”) and Andrew Sensenig (“We Are Still Here”) also star.
Matt Medisch, John Portanova & Jeremy Berg (“Valley of the Sasquatch”) and Sean Patrick Burke (“As You Are”) are producing.
