Former Horror Actress Jana Kramer’s Has A New Country Single Out!

Going back to the early 2000’s, Jana Kramer was one of the many aspiring actresses vying for the title of scream queen. All things considered, I think she did well in this adventure, booking small roles in indie features like Dead/Undead (2002), Blood Games (2003) and Blue Demon (2004). Eventually, she started getting recognized more and landed bigger roles in bigger pictures like the Prom Night remake of 2008 and one of the biggest straight-to-DVD releases of 2009 Laid to Rest. She also played the secondary female lead Katie Williams in Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis (2005). For completely understandable reasons, Jana would leave horror behind for more lucrative work in teen dramas like “90210,” “Friday Night Lights” and “One Tree Hill.”

It was also around this time that she started her career as a country music star. Her first album, self titled, was released by Elektra Nashville in 2012 to modest sales and spawned the platinum selling single ‘Why You Wanna.’ Her second album, Thirty One, was released on October 9, 2015, this time by Warner Music Nashville. It debuted at #3 on the Country Albums Chart and #10 on the Billboard Top 200; and its first single, ‘I Got the Boy,’ has already been certified gold. Her second single, ‘Said No One Ever,’ was released to radio on March 22, 2016 and has so far peaked at #58 on the Country Airplay chart. As with rock and roll, I think the country music genre can sometimes go hand and hand with horror. Think of how much it’s been used in titles that take place in the south or mid-west.

Ladies, this song is definitely marketed towards you! Please watch the video for ‘Said No One Ever’ and consider buying the song on iTunes or Amazon Music.
