FOX’s “hit” horror-comedy Scream Queens is adding another teen heart throb to its cast in another attempt to revive interest from its target demographic.If it wasn’t enough that Taylor Lautner of Twilight Saga fame joined the cast in June, it is now being reported that Colton Haynes has also joined the cast in a guest starring role; one that is currently being kept under wraps by Ryan Murphy and Co..
Colton Haynes is most known for playing Jackson Whittemore on “Teen Wolf” from 2011 to 2012 and Roy Harper on “Arrow” from 2013 to present. Both shows were massive hits for The CW and MTV. Last year, singers Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas were billed as guest stars, but ended up appearing in 4 and 6 episodes, respectively. So, Haynes being billed as a guest star could mean a lot more than a one episode arc.
The young actor will join Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michelle, Glen Powell, Abigail Breslin, KeKe Palmer, Billie Lourde, Niecy Nash, Taylor Lautner and John Stamos when Scream Queens returns for season two on September 20, 2016. The hit FOX horror-comedy series from Ryan Murphy will see the shift from popular college campus to mental asylum following The Chanels’ guilty verdict for the murders they did not commit.
