  • 1990 – Bill Skarsgård, has starred in “Hemlock Grove (TV Series)” and the upcoming “It” remake.
  • 1990 – Adelaide Kane, appears on “Blood Punch”, “Teen Wolf (TV Series)”, “The Purge“, “Donner Pass.”
  • 1985 – Anna Kendrick, who plays “Jessica Stanley” in the “Twilight” films. She also voiced a role in “ParaNorman.”
  • 1982 – Kate Siegel, has appeared in “Ouija: Origin of Evil”, “Hush”, “Demon Legacy”, “Oculus”, “The Curse of the Black Dahlia.”
  • 1976 – Rhona Mitra, has appeared in “The Gates (TV Series)”, “Underworld: Rise of the Lycans”, “Doomsday”, “The Number 23″, “Skinwalkers”, “Hollow Man”, and “Beowulf.”
  • 1968 – Gillian Anderson, portrayed “Dana Scully” on “The X-Files (TV Series)”, “The X Files” feature film, and “The X Files: I Want to Believe”. Recently she has appeared on “Hannibal (TV Series).”
  • 1968 – Eric Bana, who was the first to portray “The Hulk” on the big screen in 2003. He also started in the 2009 remake of “Star Trek.”
  • 1963 – Paul Bunnell, writer/director of the film “That Little Monster” and the upcoming “The Ghastly Love of Johnny X.”
  • 1959 – Amanda Bearse, best know for playing “Marcy D’Arcy” on the TV show “Married With Children.” She also played “Amy” in the film “Fright Night” and “Mrs. Pearl” in the 1995 TV movie “Here Comes The Munsters.”
  • 1957 – Melanie Griffith, daughter of “Birds” star Tippi Hedren, who starred in the films “Cherry 2000,” “Pacific Heights,” and “Body Double.”
  • 1944 – Sam Elliot, who has starred in the films “Frogs,” “The Legacy,” “The Hulk.” and “Ghost Rider.”
  • 1927 – The late Robert Shaw, who starred as “Quint” in “Jaws,” and appeared in the films “The Golden Voyage of Sinbad” and “The Deep.”
  • 1918 – Prolific director Robert Aldrich, whose films include “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane” and “Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte.”
  • 1903 – Tom Tyler, who played “Kharis” in “The Mummy’s Hand” and “Captain Marvel” in “The Adventures of Captain Marvel.”

DIED ON THIS DAY IN HORROR HISTORY

  • 2007 – Matthew McGrory, who played “Tiny Firefly,” in “House of 1000 Corpses” and “The Devil’s Rejects,” passed away at the age of 32. He also appeared in “Men In Black II” and “The Dead Hate The Living.”
  • 2003 – Dancer/actor Gregory Hines passed away at the age of 57. He starred in the films “Eve Of Destruction” and “Wolfen.”
  • 1969 – Sharon Tate, former wife of director Roman Polanski, was murdered at the age of 26, by members of the “Manson Clan.” She starred in her husband’s film “The Fearless Vampire Killers” and had a small role in his film “Rosemary’s Baby.”
