CHICAGO! The first Trash Movie Nite of 2017 is Here and It’s Bonkers

Horror Society is kicking our 2017 screening season into Overdrive

And we’re back. Happy New Year, fiends! After some much needed rest, we’re ready to kick off our insane 2017 screening season. So much good stuff to come. It all starts this Wednesday, as Horror Society presents a Stephen King Trash Movie Nite!

Your trusty trash master of scaremonies, Matt Storc is back to host all the madness. The double feature will be taking place this upcoming Wednesday, January 18th at 8PM. Fat Cat Chicago is located on 4840 N. Broadway Street, Chicago, Illinois 60640.

Trash Movie Nite will feature back to back screenings of Stephen King’s only directorial effort MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE and the so bad it’s actually great DREAMCATCHER. We let YOU pick the movies this time as we held a poll on our social media letting you pick the films we would screen at this show. You wanted some Stephen King cult-y stickiness, you got it.

We found an amazing Dreamcatcher drinking game that we will be playing along with the movie. It will help make sense of things. There will of course be trivia with fun FREE giveaways and a trashy VHS Stephen King trailer reel in between the films. King’s got such a great filmography, the show is worth coming to for the trailer reel alone. Fat Cat will also be providing some food and drink specials for the night. Plus, some kickass horror themed vendors will be in the house.

Stay up to date with the 21+ event and RSVP Here

See you Wednesday at Fat Cat! As always, IT’S TOTALLY FREE to enter!
