Nathan Duce Releases ‘IT’ Inspired Short Film.

Remember when there was an Annabelle contest and filmmakers were encouraged to create their own versions of how the demon’s doll came into existence? Well, people are just as excited, if not more excited, about the new IT movie coming out and we’re bound to see some fan-films hitting YouTube very soon. We’ll just have to take out the origins aspect and hope for some killer, original content.

English filmmaker Nathan Duce has beaten horror creators to the punch, though, and today he released a minute and a half short film in celebration of IT’s upcoming theatrical debut. It’s shot in the style of found footage and is only meant to showcase his love for the original flick and his anticipation for the remake. It was shot around Yorkshire and features some of the creepiness we’ve seen in the new movie’s trailer.

Check it out below.
