R.I.P. Comic Legend & Psycho Actress Rose Marie.

Sources like ABC News and US Magazine are reporting that comedic legend Rose Marie has passed away at age 94. It’s being stated that the late actress was resting in bed on Thursday when a caretaker found that she had stopped breathing and was unresponsive. The news was confirmed even more-so by her social media outlets, with her website reading “Heaven just got a whole lot funnier,” and her Twitter handle stating: “It is with broken hearts that we share the terribly sad news that our beloved Rose Marie passed away this afternoon.”

With an eight decade career in Hollywood, Rose Marie was a former child star turned radio and stage personality, who went further to become a trailblazing female comedian. A 3x Emmy Nominee, she is most known for her co-starring and recurring roles in hit television shows including “The Bob Cummings Show” as Martha Randolph from 1958 to 1959, “My Sister Ellen” as Bertha from 1960 to 1961, “The Dick Van Dyke Show” as Sally Rogers from 1961 to 1966, “The Dorris Day Show” as Myrna Gibbons from 1969 to 1971, “S.W.A.T.” as Hilda in 1975 and “Hardball” as Mitzi Bazler in 1994. She provided voice overs for assorted characters on “The Garfield Show” from 2008 to 2013.

On the side of horror and science fiction, Rose Marie held several supporting roles. She can be found in Terror at London Bridge (1985), Witchboard (1986) and Shriek if You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th (2000).
