Moose Limbs slid across my desk this morning, and I have to say it was an unexpected joy to watch. Willard meets Chronicles of Narnia, Moose Limbs sees a new doctor arrive for his first day of work in a rural English village plagued by rats. It’s a surprising, fantastical event that’s turned on its head by uncomfortable, racial elements and an elevated level of horror. 14 minutes of fun and gore await you in this fourteen minute short film from writer/director Philip Hardy.
Moose Limbs was produced by Syd Heather with cinematographer Lorenzo Levrini and editor Florence Frank. Daniel Attwell, Kelly Harrison, Sion Tudor Owens and Rachel Atkins star.
