Supercon in Louisville, Kentucky Welcomes Troma Filmmaker Heidi Moore

Writer, director and documentarian Heidi Moore has been making waves in the indie filmmaking world with her nine visionary films that span multiple genres and utilize her various skills in makeup, special effects and cinematography. She’s best known for her critically praised, LGBTQ-centric horror film Dolly Deadly, which is being distributed by Troma Entertainment. On Saturday at 8:15 in Room 1-L001, she’ll be screening her horror opus with a Q&A after the film ends! Lloyd Kaufman has said about her: “Michael Herz and I believe Heidi Moore will be up there with Troma alums Matt Stone and Trey Parker, James Gunn, Eli Roth and the many other stars who have emerged from the loins of Troma Entertainment!”

She will also be co-hosting a panel with Troma President Lloyd Kaufman in a discussion on low budget filmmaking and how to create a masterpiece without having all the resources most Hollywood films have today! Aspiring filmmakers should rush to Panel Room 3 M105 & M106 at 1:45 PM on Friday, the 30th to get firsthand knowledge from two independent filmmaking veterans!

Aside from her many other projects in the works, Heidi is also hard at work at completing the rock musical sequel to Dolly Deadly, Kill Dolly Kill, which fans should look out for next year!
