The terrible news was just confirmed by his daughter, Constance Hall, on social media with a simple “He’s gone.” Cleve was previously reported to be in the hospital as of late last week, and it appears that he passed away from the same ailments.
A master of special effects, Cleve worked on various big-name titles including Eliminators, Ghoulies, Re-Animator, Terror Night and Trolls; among many others. His work was so prolific, in fact, that he was awarded a short-lived reality series with his daughter called “Monster Man.”
The family have setup a Go Fund Me to help cover the final expenses.
