Following the recent success of their horror-comedy Onlyfangs, A & P Productions has officially announced its next feature film, Late Nite Video, an original horror sci-fi comedy that blends nostalgic late-night cable humor with conspiracy-fueled science fiction and practical creature effects.
Set against the backdrop of a fading neighborhood video store, Late Nite Video celebrates the culture of VHS, independent filmmaking, and the communities built around physical media.
Synopsis
When a film school dropout turns her uncle’s dying video store into the center of an outrageous bikini-powered protest, she accidentally starts a movement to save physical media. As corporate forces close in with promises of fame and success, she must choose between chasing her dream or protecting the community—and the movies—that inspired it.
Written and directed by Paul Ragsdale and Angelica De Alba, Late Nite Video draws inspiration from the playful spirit of late-night television programming, video store culture, and the genre films that shaped a generation of movie lovers.
