Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, proudly announces the acquisition of VOD rights to the sci-fi thriller feature GLASSES, which will be available on North American digital HD internet, DVD, cable, and satellite platforms starting September 22, 2026.
In GLASSES, a mysterious inventor brings a group of strangers together to test an exciting new technology. As they delve deeper into how the device works, they are suddenly plunged into a deadly game of survival. With the clock ticking down, everyone is forced to reveal their true motivations and grapple with the world-changing ramifications of unleashing this experiment.
Written, directed and produced by Ian Wittenber, GLASSES features performances by Joel Kayima (‘Dean’), Jenni Beatty (‘Trish’), Makha Mthembu (‘Laura’), Joshua Smith (‘Sam’), Whitney Montgomery (‘Alice’), Jeff Verge (‘Hunter’), Robbie Allen (‘Russ’) and Will Bowles (‘Frank’).
“Glasses is a non-stop thrill ride. I wanted to tell a story that was packed with as many twists as possible to keep the audience guessing until the very end,” said filmmaker Ian Wittenber. “But, wrapped within the action are reflections on the transformative effects of technology and how we navigate an unrecognizable world that’s looming on the horizon.”
Freestyle Digital Media negotiated a deal to acquire GLASSES directly with the filmmakers.
