Carpenter’s THE WARD on VOD July 8

John chippie’s The Ward might be available on VOD come June 8, with a restricted theatrical run slated for July 8.

Synopsis: John wood worker’s The Ward, a psychological thriller a few young lady locked in a mysterious mental institution in the Nineteen Sixties, marks iconic horror master John chippie’s first function film in over seven years.

Kristen (Amber Heard), a fantastic but troubled young lady, finds herself bruised, cut, drugged, and held against her will in a far off ward of a psychiatric medical institution. She is completely disoriented, without a idea why she used to be dropped at this place and no reminiscence of her existence before being admitted. All she is aware of is that she isn’t safe.

the opposite patients within the ward—4 equally disturbed young girls—supply no solutions, and Kristen quickly realizes issues aren’t as they seem. The air is heavy with secrets, and at night, when the hospital is darkish and foreboding, she hears abnormal and scary sounds. It seems they are not on my own.
One-by-one, the other girls begin to disappear and Kristen should have the opportunity out of this hellish situation ahead of she, too, turns into a sufferer. As she struggles to flee, she will find a truth some distance more unhealthy and horrifying than any person will have imagined.
