Sean Haitz is returning with his newest feature film, Bloody Violet. Previously, Sean has written and directed the short film Mangrove Slasher 2 and the feature Big Top Evil. Bloody Violet is currently in pre-production, with Haitz gearing up for a teaser trailer in hopes of reeling in fans and investors during a fundraising campaign.
Bloody Violet is inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lady Vanishes and follows, “the lives of two struggling people from Los Angeles who become forever entwined after a chance set of events.” It is being described as a murderous, suspenseful psychological-thriller.
Indie horror icon Lloyd Kaufman will appear in this title in a cameo role, with Jisaura Cardinali, James Ryder, and Lamar Fulmer acting in other lead and supporting roles. More casting announcements will be announced soon.
