BEYOND THE GRAVE Set News

Horror Society BEYOND THE GRAVE Set News www.horrorsociety.comLockheart Filmes, in association with V2 Cinema, is at work on the set of Brazilian horror-fantasy feature BEYOND THE GRAVE (aka PORTO DOS MORTOS) since February 14. Writer and director Davi de Oliveira Pinheiro (who’s also producing with Isidoro B. Guggiana) and crew are currently filming in the city of Porto Alegre.

The principal photography is expected to end March 4. “BEYOND THE GRAVE is gradually becoming organic as a movie should be. Now it has its own life. It’s very much alive”, says the director. A team of forty professionals is working to bring the film to its full form.

After the first days of shooting, BEYOND THE GRAVE is mirroring its singular concept, according to director Davi de Oliveira Pinheiro. “The purpose of creating something really different is being fully achieved”, believes the filmmaker.

“It is turning into a very original and surprising film”.

The storyline follows the unstoppable hunt for a supernatural serial killer by the obsessive cop Lockheart (Rafael Tombini) in the wastelands of a post-apocalyptic Brazil.
