This Weekend – Cincinnati Horror Film Festival

chff-myspaceIt’s about time to give a little more to the horror fans in Cincinnati

Mitchell Wells and Ben Isaacs have put together the 1st annual Cincinnati Horror Film Festival that will be running in June. The festival will be held at the Fairfield Community Arts Center in Fairfield, Ohio on Saturday June 14th, 2008.

The theater is located inside of the Community Center with a seating capacity of 200. It’s a beautiful theater located in a great part of the city with state of the art equipment. We will have the theater from 11am to 11pm, so that is a full 12 hours of films, guest speakers, and more. Even though its a smaller event it is specifically targeted to horror fans so the target market is there for you.

Due to a growing need for horror in the Ohio area, it was only natural for a festival like this to happen….

So with the help of HorrorSociety.com as well as Ben Isaacs and crew…we are proud to announce the 1st annual Cincinnati Horror Film Fest!!

cardAbout the Festival Directors:
HorrorSociety.com is a website devoted to the Indie Horror Films and the fans that love them. We have been around for about 3 years now, and this is a great chance for us to give our fans a little something extra. We have made multiple contacts throughout the years; have a devoted fan base, and many of them have asked when we are going to do a film fest. Well the time has come and I (Mitchell Wells) am certain this will turn out to be one of the best horror film festivals in the Midwest.

Ben Isaacs has been a part of the festival since the beginning….actually it was his idea for this festival in the first place! With his passion for horror, local contacts, and desire to bring horror to Cincinnati he is an important part of the HorrorSociety team. Being a lifelong fan of horror, Ben understands what it means to filmmakers to have their work shown to an audience and the appreciation it can bring to them and the fans alike.

We believe that supporting the arts is very important to not only the community, but also to the future of creative thought and expression. By becoming a sponsor you are doing just that. You will be supporting the arts, supporting free expression and supporting independent horror. The Cincinnati Horror Film Festival is proud to support independent horror and help filmmakers get the exposure they need to become the next great horror film director.
