British horror film Donkey Punch is being promoted with “viral-style” adverts in pub and club bathrooms to appeal to young people.

Posters encouraging customers to text a number for previews of the controversial film, which features graphic scenes of sexual violence, have been placed in lavatories in fashionable nightspots.
“Washrooms deliver a unique one-to-one communication to a young, socially active audience,” said Dhruv Baer of Hi-Tech media, the company behind the campaign.
