WildClaw and The Witch House

*** THE WITCH HOUSE OPENS ITS DOORS TO YOU ***

Continuing our mission of bringing horror to the Chicago stage, we are very proud to present H. P. LOVECRAFT’s chilling tale of cosmic terror, "The Dreams in the Witch House." The production opens this Sunday, November 16th, 2008, at 7:00pm at Chicago’s Athenaeum Theater, 2936 Southport Avenue, and runs through December 21st, 2008.

In the haunted town of Arkham, a young student arrives to study geometry at the infamous Miskatonic University. He takes a room in the cursed Witch House and is plunged into a blood-spattered journey across dimensions of space and time, bringing him face to face with unspeakable horrors.

Adapted and directed by Charley Sherman, the Witch House cast includes: Brian Amidei, Sean Bolger, Kate Brown, Casey Cunningham, Ryan Patrick Dolan, Christopher Hainsworth, Carolyn Klein, Ron Kuzava, J. David Moeller and Thomas Whittington.

Building on the success of this spring’s world premiere production of Arthur Machen’s horror classic, The Great God Pan, we have reunited many of that show’s creative team while welcoming several new rough beasts to the WildClaw fold: set and graphic design by Charlie Athanas, special blood effects by Fraser Coffeen, stage violence by Scott Cummins, lighting design by Paul Foster, costumes and make-up by Allison Greaves, sound design by Adam Kozlowski, dialect coaching by Jason Martin, movement by Karen Tarjan, and stage management by Jen Poulin.

Opening night tickets are still available, as well as half-price preview tickets for Sat., Nov. 15th! Tickets available at the Athenaeum box office or at the WildClaw website https://www.wildclawtheatre.com.
