Jeff Chitty has spent the last few years building his reputation as not only a grindhouse/exploitation film auteur, but also as the bad boy renegade filmmaker of the Kansas City horror film scene. He now announces his new venture, a completely independent distribution/production company: DIGITAL GRINDHOUSE ENTERTAINMENT. Dissatisfied with the current state of dvd distribution for indie horror, he has decided to go “diy”, manufacturing, marketing and selling his own dvds. Chitty is currently offering limited edition signed copies of his first two feature films ROADKILL and SURVIVE!, which were officially available October 30th at the hometown premier of SURVIVE! At KC CREEPFEST.  The films can be ordered at www.digitalgrindhouseentertainment.com  He also has big plans for 2010, planning to launch DIGITAL GRINDHOUSE RETRO, which will specialize in dvds of older, more obscure exploitation titles from the 70’s and early 80’s.

Jeff Chitty is a Kansas City based Writer/Producer/Director and the Founder/President of his production company Guerilla Entertainment.  He recently was the Assistant Producer on the highly anticipated feature film “Bonnie and Clyde vs. Dracula”. Directorially, Jeff shows a very raw 1970’s “Grindhouse” style in his films.  He produced and directed the feature film Roadkill, which is available for download at http://www.downloadhorror.com, wrote, produced and directed and edited his second feature SURVIVE!, has several short films under his belt, is in pre-production for a number of feature films; including Devil’s Fork (featuring horror queens Debbie Rochon and Tina Krause) and a redneck/action/revenge film starring horror queen Tiffany Shepis.  He is also co-writing and planning to co-direct a chiller with actress Tina Krause.
