Indie Horror Movie “You Found Me” Ready for Blood

You-Found-Me-webThey didn’t come here to die! is the tag line for this eerie little gem of a short called You Found Me. It’s a gritty short that recently aired on BlackFlagTv. The list of actors attached to the project are up and coming, but from the little that I saw in this extremely fast paced short, they will find their place in the horror world.

The story is about two girlfriends who go on a camping trip, while the film lacks enough depth from the characters, there are some really strong movies, almost teasers that make you want more, which is a good thing. Our killer is relate able in a very odd since, you can tell that there is more that meets to eye with this man — and his connection to our lead is strange to say the least.

Mariya Protsenko and Steve Booth, along with Jennifer Abbey are definitely stars in the making. They all conveyed a real since of terror and anger and fear.

While the story hustles along director and writer Lawrence Nelson gives a clear since of direction and understanding of the material, this film could easily be hard to follow, however, that’s not the case, the film flows with ease from each scene to the next and really builds to a climax that like I said makes you want more of the story. He really does capture a feeling that puts you on edge. Which only makes me can’t wait to see what he’s envisioned for The Mangled.

From what I’ve read on their Facebook page, this is becoming a full feature, which sounds exciting to me to see how everything really comes to pass and maybe some answers will come to light, who is this man in the woods? Is he an escaped convict or is that just the suit of a man that he killed? And who is watching the tape?

If you get a chance to check out this film, it’s worth the watch.
