Sad news today that Cory Monteith has passed away at the age of 31. Mr. Monteith was discovered yesterday evening in a hotel in Canada, where he had been deceased for several hours. His cause of death is currently unknown, although he does have a history of drug dependencies.
Cory Monteith is most known for playing the role of Finn on the hit tween musical series “Glee!,” but it’s come to my attention that Cory has made considerable achievements in the horror and science fiction world.
These achievements include starring in episodes of “Stargate: Atlantis,” “Supernatural,” “Smallville,” Stargate: SG1,” “Kyle: Xy,” and “Fear Itself.”
Cory also appeared in a handful of horror films including Killer Bash (2005), Bloody Mary (2006), Final Destination 3 (2006), Kraken: Tenticles of The Deep (2006), Hybrid (2007), and White Noise 2 (2007).
It’s sad to see such a talented actor pass away, and I know that Monteith has a rabid fan base who are mourning his death along with his friends and family. Here’s hoping he has finally found peace.
