“The Horror Starlets” return for 9th Annual Bowling For Boobies

Yes, I know this is basically promoting another horror website’s fundraiser; but it is for an amazing cause – and for that they have my total support!

Bowling For Boobies® is a breast cancer fundraiser that raises money for local US women to help them pay their medical and cost of living bills while they are currently undergoing breast cancer treatment.

Our event last event raised over $105,000 and helped pay the medical bills of 75 US women battling breast cancer.

‘THE HORROR STARLETS’ TO BOWL FOR BOOBIES

Hollywood Horror Actresses Unite to Raise Money for Women Battling Breast Cancer

Demonstrating that their interests lay not only in cinematic hack and slash, a bevy of hot horror actresses have united for the fifth year running for a good cause: to support local Los Angeles women battling breast cancer, via their participation with The Busted Foundation (a non-profit charity which provides monetary assistance to women who are experiencing financial challenges as the result of fighting and living with the deadly disease).

Organized by Dreadcentral.com writer Sean Decker, ‘The Horror Starlets’ 2013 team is comprised of the returning Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever), Brooke Lewis (Slime City Massacre), Carlee Baker (The Woman), Natalie Victoria (DeadHeads) and Kristina Klebe (Rob Zombie’s Halloween), as well as newcomers Anne McDaniels (Poseidon Rex) and Arielle Brachfeld (Chemical Peel).

In addition to their goal of raising breast cancer awareness, the team is set to participate in the 9th Annual Bowling For Boobies®, which takes place on October 6th in Los Angeles at Pinz Bowl in Studio City with a red carpet, followed by an evening of bowling, raffles and giveaways, with the proceeds to directly benefit women struggling with breast cancer. Joining the ‘The Horror Starlets’ will be The Go-Go’s Jane Wiedlin and Thomas Jane of Reno 911, among other celebrities.

Says Sean Decker of his work with ‘The Horror Starlets’ and Busted Foundation, “For the last five years I’ve been involved directly with Bowling For Boobies and it’s been a vastly rewarding experience, as the money we raise goes directly to women struggling with breast cancer. As a team we are reaching out to the horror community and beyond this year, and ask people to come together in support of local Los Angeles women fighting this disease.”
