After so many years supporting this title throughout its various incarnations, I’m thrilled to see that Chill: The Killing Games is inching closer and closer to an in store, online and VOD release. Speaking with a member of the cast and crew this evening, I repeated my opinion that the horror genre is currently missing truly great murder mysteries and that Chill: The Killing Games could be the first title to revitalize that subgenre. I give Alchemy Werks a lot of credit for seeing the potential with this movie and being so speedy with its promotional materials, most notably the recently released DVD cover art featured above.

An announcement is expected soon as to when this title will become available for purchase.

A hip, bloody, suspenseful version of Clue meets Halloween: Resurrection, Chill: The Killing Game takes place many years after a college role-playing game resulted in the death of eight students. Now, two students at the same university, Kyle (Roger Conners) and Jared (Brad Arner) are hoping to capitalize on the tragedy and the game itself but turning Chill into an online reality show. Locked away in an old building, armed with cameras and microphones connected to an online streaming site, the game is set as eight new players embark on a session of Chill. The only question is, can they change the outcome of the game after a masked killer appears again?

Chill: The Killing Games is directed by Meredith Holland and Noelle Bye, who also co-produced and co-wrote the indie feature along with Roger Conners. Conners plays the lead role of Kyle, and is supported in this flick by Brad Arner, Janine Sarnowski, DJ Remark, Angelia DeLuca, Bella Sin, Jason Orr, Erinn Bakun, Rick Montgomery Jr., Benny Benzino and Kelly Joann Rogers.
