On August 30th, 2011, Warner Home Entertainment will release “The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Second Season” on Blu-ray. The season collection features all 22 episodes of the supernatural soap opera; during the second season, the residents of Mystic Falls must face an emerging werewolf presence. “The Vampire Diaries” stars Nina Dobrev (“DeGrassi: The Next Generation”) and Ian Somerhalder (“Lost”).
Warner presents this four-disc Blu-ray set in its original aspect ratio of 1.78:1 and mastered in 1080p; there is also a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. “The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Second Season” will also feature a number of special features, including:
