Mr. Hush Sees Limited National Release

Film Features Horror Favorite Stephen Geoffreys

Mr. Hush, an independent film which has generated considerable pre-release buzz, will have select distribution to several theaters nationwide starting August 19th. Several screenings will feature in-person appearances by cast members and the film’s director, David Lee Madison. Venues include the prestigious Anthology Film Archives in New York, among others.

The movie pays homage to classic 80’s horror films such as Fright Night, Evil Dead and The Lost Boys. It is the quintessential story of good versus evil and of true love lost, blending horror with humor, suspense and elements of romance. Follow our hero on his emotional rollercoaster ride as he is thrown into a dark, villainous world which ends with a surprising twist that leaves you wanting more.

The cast includes Brad Loree (Michael Myers in Halloween: Resurrection), Stephen Geoffreys (Fright Night / 976-EVIL), Steve Dash (Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part 2) and Edward X. Young (Sea of Dust). The score was composed and arranged by Italy’s Golden Globe winner, Marco Werba, and the theme song was written and performed by Visitor, featuring Bill Gibson and Mario Cipollina (two of the co-founders of Huey Lewis and the News), Tal Morris (Creedence Clearwater Revisited), and Tommy Castro (NBC’s Comedy Showcase/The Tommy Castro Band),

“Mr. Hush is the origin story of a great new movie monster,” said Madison. “The initial response to the film has been very enthusiastic and many feel Mr. Hush could be the next horror icon. People love to hate him!”

For fans of Stephen Geoffreys (Evil Ed in the original Fright Night), Mr. Hush will be a treat as it marks his return to classic horror. His character, Stark, in Mr. Hush is reminiscent of his portrayal of Evil Ed and will be eagerly embraced by his fans and fans of the genre.
