Horror Icons Lynn Lowry and Sean Whalen Join The Divine Tragedies

Director Jose Prendes and producers Jon and James Kondelik are pleased to announce the attachment of two more renowned actors to their terrifying film: Sean Whalen (The People Under the Stairs) and Lynn Lowry (Cat People). These two actors will join horror icon Ken Foree in a serial killer fever dream.

The story for The Divine Tragedies is based on a real life murder case, the Leopold and Loeb kidnapping and ransom of Robert Franks. In the film, the killers Leopold and Loeb have been renamed Charles (Graham Denman) and Thomas (Jon Kondelik). Together, Charles and Thomas decide to carry out the perfect murder. They choose a single mother to perform their deed, but something goes wrong. A strong willed detective, Gaul (Ken Foree), is on their trail and he will persist until these madmen are caught.

Fans of horror or thrillers can preview two character poster for the film, here. Actress Lynn Lowry is prominent in one, while actor Sean Whalen is hosted in the other. Director Prendes says of the latest attachment, Sean Whalen: “I wrote this really bizarre and sleazy character, who just so happened to have some endearing qualities and I always had Sean in mind for it.” More casting details on The Divine Tragedies are below.
