  • 1986 – Camilla Belle, appears in “10,000 BC”, “When a Stranger Calls”, “The Lost World: Jurassic Park.”
  • 1971 – 80’s mall teen queen Tiffany, she has appeared in “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid”, “Mega Piranha”, “Necrosis.”
  • 1967 – Lew Temple, has appeared in “Wicked Blood”, “Zombex”, “The Walking Dead (TV Series)”, “Silent Night, Zombie Night”, “Rob Zombie’s Halloween” and more.
  • 1951 – Sting, who starred in the films “The Bride,” “Brimstone and Treacle” and “Dune.”
  • 1950 – Persis Khambatta who appeared in the films “Megaforce” and “Star Trek the Motion Picture.”
  • 1950 – Ian McNiece, who played “Winston Churchill” in the current “Doctor Who” series. He also appeared in the films “From Hell,” the 2008 remake of “Day of the Dead” and the 2004 mini series “Frankesntein.”
  • 1936 – David Gale who played “Dr. Hill” in “The Re-Animator” and “Bride of the Re-Animator.”
  • 1929 – Moses Gunn who appeared in the films “Firestarter,” “Amityville II: the Possession” and “Rollerball.”Gunn was set to play the part of “Judge Richard Farris” in the TV mini-series “The Stand,” but passed away before filming started. The role went to “Ossie Davis.”
  • 1920 – James Dobson who appeared in the films “The Cult of the Cobra,” “Mutiny in Outer Space” and “Impulse.”
  • 1917 – William Marshall who wrote and directed the film “Phantom Planet.”
  • 1900 – Barton Yarborough who played “Dr. Kettering” in “The Ghost of Frankenstein,” and also appeared in the film “Before I Hang” with Boris Karloff.
  • 1895 – Comedian Bud Abbott, who along side his partner Lou Costello, met a slew of monsters including, “Frankenstein,” “Dracula,” “The Wolf Man,” “The Invisible Man,” “The Mummy,” “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde” and”The Killer.”

DIED ON THIS DAY IN HORROR HISTORY

  • 2005 – Character actor, Hamilton Camp passed away at the age of 70. As a child he appeared in the films “Bedlam” (1946 with Karloff), ” Son of Dr. Jekyll” and as an adult in the film “Evilspeak.”
  • 2003 – Richard Liberty, who played “Dr. ‘Frankenstein’ Logan” in the film “Day of the Dead,” passed away at the age of 68. He also appeared in the films “The Crazies,” “Cannibal Hookers” and “The Final Countdown.”
  • 1999 – Lee Richardson, who appeared in the films “The Believers,” “The Fly II” and “The Exorcist III,” passed away at the age of 73.
  • 1998 – Gene Autry who starred in the serial “Phantom Empire,” passed away at the age of 91.
