CHICAGO! We’ve Left You a Present Under the Tree That You Can Unwrap on Sunday

It’s a Wonderful Horror Society Christmas on Sunday at Bucket O Blood!

What goes better with Christmas than horror movies? Well, we at Horror Society think that horror movies go well with everything. The Christmas season has been rife with horror movies for as long as we can remember from Black Christmas all the way to Krampus. Some of those films have become horror classics. We aren’t showing any of those. This Sunday, December 11th, we present a weird, wild yuletide extravaganza for this totally free screening. This event will be taking place at 7pm at Bucket O’ Blood Books and Records and will be hosted by your trash master of scaremonies, Matt Storc (it’s his birthday, so you should come).

We will be screening for its 10 year anniversary the insane and underrated 2006 remake of Black Christmas or Black X-mas as it came to be known. We’re going to follow that up with one of the most absurd “versus” movies around that also happens to be a Christmas movie, Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys starring the one and only Corey Feldman. To help you get through the movies, the screening will be BYOB, and there will be a donation bar at the event as well for those looking for some light snacks, beer, and refreshments.

So come for both films, or just one if that’s all you can handle! Afterwards, us survivors will be going out to karaoke for Matt’s birthday. Bucket O’ Blood Books and Records is located at 3182 N Elston Ave, Chicago, IL 60618. There will be trivia in between the films where Santa, I mean Satan, will be bringing you gifts you can win. Also, make sure to come early to do some holiday shopping at one of the coolest stores in the planet.

See you Sunday at Bucket O’ Blood! As always, IT’S TOTALLY FREE to enter!

(Chicago Events Coordinator) Matt Storc is a screenwriter and director from the great city of Chicago. He enjoys sharing movies with people almost as much as he enjoys making them. He also does a killer rendition of the other guy's part in Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me" at karaoke."
