Where Are They Now? : Angela Jones

Angela Jones started her career as a featured extra in horror’s Terrorgram and as a body double in Overexposed, both in 1990. Despite the humble beginning, she quickly caught the eye of producers and starred as Gabriella Ponce in short horror-thriller Curdled (1991) and even reprised the role in the 1996 feature length adaption. After appearing as a featured extra in Hidden Fears, she booked the part of Esmarelda Villalobos in Oscar winning movie Pulp Fiction (1994) , after a special request was made by Quentin Tarrantino himself. Later, in 1998, she played a supporting character in action-thriller Gang Land. Also in 1998, Ms. Jones returned to horror by playing the supporting role of Charlotte in Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror, which she followed up with co-starring gigs in scifi-thriller Morella (1999) and Family Secrets (2001). After all of these accomplishments, she took a small hiatus from acting.

So, where is Angela Jones now?

She returned to the craft in 2007 with action-thriller The Caper. Four years later, she made another return to horror as a featured extra in anthology Chillerama. She stayed with the genre for another movie, playing the supporting character Felicia in House at the End of the Drive (2014). Her last project to see a release was last year’s comedy The Pocketeers; although she has small parts in psychological-thriller Psyched and fantasy Landfill. Both titles are due out at the end of 2017 or at the beginning of 2018. Angela makes horror convention appearances around the country, despite being inactive from social media since 2015.
