Slappy, the sinister ventriloquist dummy from Goosebumps, has trapped fans in an AR game from Krikey, an Augmented Reality (AR) mobile gaming application where users can play 3D games that interact with the real world. In partnership with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment for a Goosebumps 2 AR takeover, Krikey today released Goosebumps Escape the Cage, the third and final game from the collaboration.
To break free from the cage, fans must race against the clock to complete a maze and puzzle. Each round has special jump scares hidden within, so no two rounds of game-play are alike.
Krikey is bringing the Goosebumps villain to life with a total of three AR games. The first game, Trap Slappy Challenge, launched on October 8. The second game, Slappy’s Haunted Christmas, launched on November 12, and now all three are available on Krikey.
Goosebumps 2 is available on digital 12/25 and on Blu-ray 1/15.
